Default Aftermarket TPMS Sensors

Quick question. My local dealer told me that they could not program aftermarket TPMS sensors. Is this true? My new wheels should be in tomorrow, and I want to get them programmed. Has anyone had a problem with getting aftermarket sensors programmed?

They could. They just want you to spend money on their own brand of TPMS. I did mine at an independent shop and he is an ex Lexus master technician. Keep asking around

Think I got quoted ~$125 to get them re-programmed at the dealership, and $60 at the independent shop. No-brainer!

I got a set of used PACIFIC TPMS off of eBay for $68, and Lexus dealer wanted $225 to install and program them on my winter tires. I got my regular Toyota dealer to install and program for $100.
