Default AFS OFF, ECU, and You

*SIGH* another headlight thread...

I've had a lot of headlight problems with my GS. Flickering HID lamps, AFS OFF, etc. My driver's side headlight was replaced by an incompetent auto body shop. They mistakenly replaced the unit with a non-AFS (Adaptive Front lighting System) headlight assembly, causing the AFS OFF light to flash constantly.

I had the entire headlight assembly swapped out for the right part @ the dealership last week. All was well until the next morning when the AFS OFF light started flashing again. Dropped it off at the dealership again & they called to let me know the actuator that moves the headlamp had failed. They ordered a new headlight assembly & now they tell me the ECU has to be replaced.

So do you think the ECU is the problem, or is the dealership troubleshooting one component at a time?
