Tire Size Help...
Hey guys, I am new here and I love this forum....So many good information. I have 08 project GS350 RWD and I have just got my BC racing coilovers and Vossen 086 wheels. I am planing to get coilovers in this weekend and install the wheels next week. What is a good tire size for rear on Vossen wheel with 45 Offset? Most guys here are running 275/30/20, but this size is much bigger than the factory spec. 285/25/20 is much closer to the factory spec. Is it going to rub to run 285/25/20. How would be the ride and wheels damage factor with 285/25/20 ?
Please help....
Thanks in advance..

Thanks guys for all the help, I took her out last night and have them park her (valet) last night and when I got back the two tires on passenger side was flat and valet guy could not tell me why.
It looks like they hit the carve real bad, I have found to small cuts at the side walls on both tires. I had her to get towed to local Lexus, I will know Tuesday, how hard they hit the carve. By the way I was with stock wheels and tires last night.
I really like to run 285/25 but I am worried bez of problems like this, maybe the 275/30 wall will take the bumps better in the road?
Thanks again

if something like that happened with stock wheels, trust me 285/25 or 275/30 won't make much of a difference.
just my personal experience, but 275/30 or 285/25, they are just as likely to be damaged / cause problems. if anything 275/30 has marginally better ride (which is more of a problem of the brand and model of tires anyway)
