The Perfect color combo
i think black is best. hides everything goes with everything. but the trick is getting it on a white exterior i got extremely lucky finding my car. the wood in the black 3gs is kinda hard to get used too but and i will change it when i get a chance to blackwood.
if your looking for a GS im in NOVA and im thinking about selling mine to get a 2gs again
its a 06 gs430 converted to gen 5 navigation loaded plus some really great extras

Ben-
Your car is really nice. I wish I knew about it sooner. I just made a deposit on a 450h.
Your fender vents really look good. The paint guy is going to have his work cut out for him blending pearl paint.
So going back to a Gen 2 ??? Outside of cost, whats the advantage?

after having a 3gs its just not the same. yeah its got the technology but i dont enjoy it near as much as my 2gs. its not getting a blend goes in for allover respray of factory Glacier Frost Mica in a week or so. i dont half *** anything and blending it would be a crime. my fenders are all metal and my kit is a completely molded in, also have 08 mirrors for it. its a good car and very very rare color combination just rather have something else.
I still like the Gen2 as well. i was actually thinking of getting Adams Blue GS as he had all the suspension mods I wanted and he's right up in B-more. But after driving a stock 350 I preferred the newer line up. And after driving the 450 I was sold. I feel its a better platform and the hybrid technology intrigues me. Should be fun for a while.
God Speed with your project. Don't think you'll have a problem selling your GS.

Already got a silver on Gray. But I finally came across my perfect color combo for sale. The bad side is that Its a high mileage GS300 w no options.

you must be a full time detailer that car would need to be washed all the time LOL the interior would always look dirty and so would the outside only day it look new was the day it was bought!
the ash interior isn't that bad. My car is 65k miles on it, interior still looks new. I did swap out the grey floormats with oem black ones though

I have tried everything, and have come to the conclusion that light grey is just the worst color for interior floor carpet.
I normally have light gray rubber mats that match perfectly with the leather interior! Plus the car is almost never in bad weather like rain or snow. So it doesnt see any wet shoes.
