Default Any luck with Ichiba v2 20mm spacers??

I am trying to plan out my parts list for some work I'm doing over the holiday break on my '07 GS350. I am buying either the Tein S, Eibach, or Tanabe NF210 springs and also want to see if I can push the rear wheels out to fill up the wheel well a bit more. I'm running OEM 18" 5-star wheels with 245-40 tires so, nothing special. I might up grade down the road but, would like to run these for now.

I've read online and the Ichiba V2's seem to fit the bill. Any others have luck with these? Any vibrations? Do you have to cut down your factory studs or is a 20mm spacer thick enough to fully conceal them within the spacer? I assume 20mm will work find with my setup, right?

Here is a link to the spacers I'm looking at:

Thanks,
Todd

I also ran them and had no issues. A few reported vibrations. I like how easy they are to change!!

Do you have to cut down the factory studs at all with 20mm spacers? I installed some on a Tahoe and the OEM studs were longer than the spacer was wide so I had to use a dremel to cut the tips off so the wheel would mount flush to the spacers.

Is 20mm the right thickness for OEM wheels and a moderate drop?

Thanks,
Todd

No, because these spacers are bolt-on types. They are easy to install and remove!

I had them on my car with OEM wheels and hated them because of vibrations. I tries every trick in the book and still had problems!

Here's my thread with pictures!

I would contact Adrian at B2 auto design he is a vendor here at club Lexus I have purchased atleast 8 pair of ichiba spacers fro
Him with no issues whatsoever. I have had 20&15 mm v2 and 10&5mm v1 with no issues from any of them as far as the factory studs being too long it really depends on the wheel and if it has stud pockets and if so
How deep they are I didn t need to cut mine down with the 15s on the rear and I actually had mine milled down to 12.5 mm but these were used with a Vossen wheel and the pockets were deep enough nOT to interfere with bolting the wheel tight

I plan to buy from Adaptec but, can I go 25mm or is 20mm as wide as I can go? I'm dropped on BCR coil overs and I'm running the OEM 18x8 5-star wheels and 245-40-18's. I want to avoid any rubbing.

Thanks,
Todd

I ran 25mm on OEM setup and it was too agressive, car looked funny. 20mm is perfect! But look out for wobbling, check the inner bore diameter and hub ring diameter. Torqueing the bolts is the key, but that did'nt work for me.

Others have had no problem, good luck.
