Default Weird thing I noticed after taking off engine plastics

I was bored last night and since my intake should be showing up tonight, I decided to take off my engine plastics to save some time on install.
I noticed that the radiator support is not black like the rest of the car.
Is this normal?

Yes it is normal, atleast i have the same
Exact thing. My first thought was that the car has been involved in a heavy front end collision but after few pics here on clublexus of peoples cars it became normal. It definatly looks out of place and strange but it is what it is.

my car is white and that section is black. seems like they did it on mine to help blend the radiator in when looking through the grill
