430 has more power and is silky smooth with a bullet proof engine and GREAT ECONOMY i get 28 on the highway as long as i use ethanol free gas. Suspension on 430 is better than the 350. The throaty sound of the V8 is intoxicating. .... Yes the 350 has newer NAV but if your that desperate for the newer Nav find a wrecked 350 and switch it out.

I take him a few fenders lengths all the time. Tbilisi GS350 comes AWD might wan't to take that into the consideration. I have a GS350 no problems to complain about expect the usual, rattles.
06 is faster than the 05 with a different tranny. I have raced several 350's and not one has took my 430 yet. It's very simple TQ moves mass and the 350 can't touch the 430 on TQ.

My 430 is so smooth on the highway, I just wish it was better on the mileage

99 GS400 with 174k on the ticker. By spring time, I'm thinking it will be time for me to make a change (unless something comes along sooner). I wasn't aware that the 350 didn't need a timing belt at 90k. Does it ever need a belt or is it a chain?

Hey Henry. You said that in 07, a lot of the 350s came with the bigger rims/tires. Does that hold true for 08+? Was that a stand-alone option, sports package, something else? I've been seeing certified 08 350s with under 30k miles for around $30k.

And what's with all these rattles that I'm reading about in this thread? My 99 has rattles, but I still love the car. Are the rattles during normal driving, big bumps, what?

that's the case at least here in cali. you just don't see many gs350 with 17s, almost all of them come with 18s already

Hmm . . . most of the 350s around here in Chicago have the skinny 17s. Then again, most of the 350s around here are also AWD. I wonder if the reason most of the California cars have the 18s is because they're also RWD cars. That might have something to do with it.

well i guess 17s are better in snow? most cars here are rwd for sure, but then at the same time, 18s will work on awd just fine

Well rattles usually comes during winter
Time, mostly heard when driving on ruff roads and bumps. Gs350 has a chain, and they come with 17s if they are awd.
