Default Park Assist help please

Ok, so I activated the parking assist switch in the drop down compartment and I see the icon on the dashboard. From what I understand, the parking assist can be shown on the touch screen, right? I go into the Info screen, select LEXUS Park Assist, and then display setting. The display button says off and when I push it, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't the button switch to "On" if I press it so I can see the assist on the touch screen?

what happens when you get close to objects, does the screen change to one with the car and green/yellow/red bars showing how close to you are to those objects?

There is something in the park assist menu that you can toggle the display on or off. When it's on, display changes to show the car and the green/yellow/red bars indicating proximity to the sensors.

Seems like you found that setting though why it doesn't work I couldn't say.

I tried to put the option on in the menu but it doesn't do anything when I press the button. It won't change to "on" when I press it for some reason.
