not to sure but I was warned about doing a staggered fitment on my awd, since the wheels need to be the same size all around if not in time its gonna cause havoc on ur tranny this what ive been told so I stuck with the same size all around, what u can do is get diff offset to make them look staggered, for 19 the closet measurements are 225/40/19

The size gridlock quotes is for red. On AWD your suspension is higher and your tire wall is taller.

As long as the diameter of the wheel+tire stays same as current both front and rear, you are fine.

I think you want 225/40/19 on front and 255/40/19 on back.

I was thinking of doing

245/35/19 in the front
275/30/19 in the back

that should keep the overall diameter of front and back within .15"

any other input

I'm pretty sure the one on the showroom floor at newport lexus has 225/40-19 front and 255/35-19 rear...

Tell me about your suspension?

I know that with a non staggered setup, Lexus recommends 245/40/19 all around on the GS350 AWD.

So if your suspension is stock, or lowered but with stiffer springs, then you should peg the front to 245/40/19 in accordance with Lexus specs, and then figure out the rear to closely match the total diameter.

This does not apply. It is the rear wheel drive recommended setup. He has awd.

This would be a great tire set up if you had a rwd car and not a AWD. The other set up is going to not have any wheel gap.

why not? this would give me a side wall of 90mm in the front and 89.25 in the back...that would give me an almost identical overall diameter

your recommendation of 225/40 and 255/40 would give me:
90mm in the front side wall and
112mm in the back side wall

Or am i wrong about something here?

The 255/40 sidewall is significantly taller than the 225/40, would run a 235/35-19 front and back

The rims ate pretty close in width so sure you can the rear will be slightly stretched more than the front but not much at all I have a 225/30 on my 9 inch fronts and will have the same on my 9.5 front when it comes in. Using thd same tire will keep the overall diameter from front to back perfect

In that case what if i just go 225/40/19 all the way around
That should keep the diameter as close to stock size as possible
