Has anyone ever tapped into the nav video output? I got some headrest tvs and want them to play everything that the navi screen is playing, navigation, dvd ect.... Has this been done?

Harlemboi,
Did you ever get this figured out? I would also like to tap the video output to feed some external headrest monitors. Please let me know. Thanks.

Yea... I took it to my boy's shop in the Bronx and they figured it out!!! The only thing is that the headrest tvs only show video when there is video playin in the front ( which is not bad).. But I wanted the headrest tvs to show everything, the navigation screen, the start up screen, I wanted them to show when I was on the phone and everything but they couldnt do it.. He told me it was impossible and no one will ever get the headrest to play EVERYTHING that the front screen plays! They will only play video when there's video playin on the front screen!! Sorry I don't know exactly wat he did but I'll pull the radio out and ask him to explain to me wat he did and Ill take pics and tell y'all exactly wat to do!!!

I have a 07' GS350 w/ NAV. Can I somehow configure it to play DVDs w/o installing a DVD player? I guess my question is will the reader read DVDs as is?

if your car does not have ML then no it will not play. you can work around that by using a vaistech video kit and using an ipod to play through your screen though.
