I don't think anyone here is running a mid pipe on stock axle backs! I have these midpipes but with tanabe axle backs!

There is a video of axle backs with and without mid pipes on a GS350 if you're interested. Or perhaps this video is close to what you are looking for, it's a Tanabe mid pipes on an IS350

I'm useing the Invidia Mid-Pipe with the stock exhaust and I love it
the sound is nice and not to loud I also feel the car with a bit more pep at low end than I did when I used the Mid-Pipe with the Tanabe cat back...

what kind of hp/tq gains do you get from running a mid-pipe with stock exhaust?

3GS have been around from 6 years and still no full exhaust system! Dont think anyone dynoed their car with a midpipe+exhaust? I think lexus cars gain quite a bit from an exhaust system, since ISF owners gain 25whp from just an exhaust system.

i think its too loud for many members,,,its pretty simple mod since it just bolt-on,,heard drone gets little annoying after awhile,,guess u can say about exhaust as well,,,

I've dyno'd it before and the gains are pretty minimal. There's not much performance wise to do for our cars. IS-F has a little more to benefit from mods but the GS350 & IS350 don't have too much to gain..

I wonder how much the gs460 v8 picks up in hp with a full exh,and how much louder it would be at cruise around 70 on the freeway

i have SNS mid pipes on oem exhuast and love it ...using mid pipes and a aftermarket exhaust , you will lose to much low end from lack of back pressure...with the oem exhaust and mid pipes i actually pull better off the line and runs great on freeways too..just my 2 cents
