I recently installed HID fogs and it seems like now the car makes some creaking noise when going over bumpers or turning the wheel. I made sure all the clips and bolts were put back in place and tightened. Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? If I take it to the dealer would my warranty be voided since I added HID fogs? Sorry for all the questions.

 

Are you sure the noise is coming from the fogs lights?

 

I know the sound is coming from the front suspension area. So I assumed it had to do with something with installing the HID's.

 

You made sure the fender isn't rubbing or that the plastic piece isnt to close to the tire.

 

I just remembered that when I was tightening the two bolts in the wheel well on both sides they wouldn't tighten, but they would just spin once you reached a certain point.

 

I'm also getting noises from my suspension. mainly mine sounds like two washers hitting each other. I haven't had time to really figure out whats causing it.

 

Just thought I'd update this and tell the prognosis of the sound. Ended up being the front sway bar bushings needed to be replaced. The sound was mainly over bumps when going slow and when turning left or right slowly. They are also replacing the front brake pads to fix the loud squeal.
