Default bumper replacement question

Hi, im lookin to upgrade my front to a 08+ look..

was just wondering if its worth it to buy a replacement bumper which is identical

or buy the Oem bumper direct from lexus, and spend double the price?

do you guys know if there will any issues with a OEM vs Replica bumper?

$600 vs $300

I say buy OEM..i went to the body shop and they used an aftermarket one and it didn't fit..I complained and he said to me it won't be 100% perfect..but I kept complaining and when it get the OEM it fit better and then he told me it was aftermarket defect.

parts are cheaper, but their shipping kills the deal.

mylexparts has free shipping for $100+ orders.

price comes out the same in the end.

and where can you find a replica oem bumper? i've never seen anyone make it.
also, if the replica is fiberglass, it sucks..... not even worth the savings.

Try autowreckers for used one. Otherwise get new oem from local dealer to avoid shipping.

I live in canada. so shipping wont be free for me... ive found a oem replica bumper locally for $300 bucks, because i got a quote for $600 from lexus dealer, unpainted...

but im thinking if i should order oem bumper, and sell this replica one i have... im scared of it not fitting like oem, and gaps.. and the holes might not lined up, didnt do my research first.. thought i was getting a good deal

after the horror stories you read on this forum, you wouldn't want to buy replicas.
