Fuel efficiency of GS300 vs GS350
I've been looking lately to purchase a 3rd gen GS in order to have a more practical car to supplement my SC400. I've been looking at pre-owned GS300's and GS350's, mostly 06' and 07'. I was wondering from anyone who's owned them both if there's a major difference in fuel efficiency (real world figures, not EPA). Given the rapidly rising fuel prices, I'd lean towards a GS300 if the smaller engine proved more beneficial.

I have the 06... they are supposed to be a bit better but not by some huge margin. They are probably more similar in highway cruising than in stop and go.
If you do a lot of highway driving (not in traffic) then it probably doesn't make a huge difference, best I got in that case was around 34-35 MPG (AWD). Peoples reports of fuel economy with these cars varies wildly depending on how and where they drive.

In terms of fuel economy the car is different you will probably get a better gas mileage in the 300 vs. the 350 becuase your talking about a increase in power, the real difference is the power you will probably regret the 300 vs the 350 but you should really test drive the both cars.
