Default Tire rod problems??

I've only had my car for 2 months and I'm already experiencing a few minor (fingers crossed) problems. This go round involves noise from the front drivers tire. At low speeds it sounds like I'm running over a chain sporadically. Haven't noticed it at high speeds but sometimes on flat surfaces and sometime while going over speed bumps. My guess-estimation is tire rods might need replacing. Any advice?

What the heck is a "tire rod". Are they like chrome muffler bearings?

I'm guessing he meant tie rod. Hoping you had that figured already.

A bad tie rid will usually cause the steering wheel to shake, and a wheel bearing will usually make a humming sound and be constant. Could it be your brakes?? Maybe the pads vibrating. I actually had a rock stuck in the rear drum part of my parking brake that was rattling around and making a grinding noise occasionally. I had it removed last week

Could possibly be brakes as I had them changed by a friend that works for nissan a month ago. I have noticed an unusual lean in the steering wheel whenever I'm on an inverted (or leaning) road. Its hard to describe the noise, but it literally sounds like I'm rolling over a thick, linked metal chain.

Is the noise present on all the time? Or does it change in frequency/pitch on different roads? For me, I get a similar sound on a certain road near me but that's the only place. I blame it on the road.

just get down on the ground and put your hand on the tie rod to check for any play or movement.

Actually you want to try and shake the wheel back and forth and see it there is any play
