Default Need to replace (1) TPMS. How do I reprogram?

I know I need Lexus (or hopefully Toyota in my case) to reprogram new TPMS sensors.

-Problem is, I have to replace only 1 b/c of a broken valve stem.
-Question is...can I just take it in before I mount it and have them program the 1 or do they need to know the serial numbers on all of them and reprogram them together? Am I making sense?

Also, can I have it mounted 1st and then just give them the serial number to program?

They only need the serial number for one of them to program one of them.

If you have a Discount Tire in your area, try them. They have a scan tool and will be cheaper if not free.
