Default Dash Rattle TSB, how long?

My GS has been at the dealer since February 16th on the dash rattle that is supposed to be getting fixed. How long does it take to complete the project??

Mine was in for 2 weeks recently for the 3rd time this past year. Made no difference, noises are still there. I give up!

Yup...I second this statement. I can guarantee you they haven't been working on it 100% of the time. Rattles are a tech's crappiest work.

It took me 1 week to get the valve spring TSB done and that required taking apart a motor. Logically I would assume rattle TSB would take < 1 week.

Wow it's unreal that a car this expensive rattles like a 89 Iroc Z. Whats worse is they have known about it and in the 08's and newer they still rattle. Lexus didn't even fix the problem. All the recalls to the quality control really gone down the drain at Lexus.

it's a pita, but not 2 weeks pita, unless they work with 1 finger. if i have the time, i could have taken apart the dash in a day.

On mine, they pulled my dash apart, ground some pins down and refelted everything and the car was with them for 4 days. I had a decent loaner so wasn't in a hurry and told them I'd rather them keep it as long as needed rather than rush to retrun. They also addressed a couple of other TSB's dealing with seat squeaks and rattles while it was with them. Car is dead silent (it's been almost a year) in all the old trouble spots. I do have a new rattle in the cluster, but have isolated it to the plastic insert that surrounds the cluster bezels. Am going to felt that one myself rather than paying them to deal with it.

No, TSBs are only apply under the factory 4 year/50k warranty. Although I've read of dealers doing certain goodwill TSB work just outside of the factory warranty.
