Yes you can swith the car off by pressing brake pedal and holding the start stop button for about 5 seconds while moving.

I had the car in a few weeks ago for the master cylinder seal recall. I was in for an oil chnage and they told me about the recall. Unfortunately, only needed about 6 gallons of fuel. This time, I am running the car down to empty to get a full tank. It is inconvenient to bring the car back and forth and back and forth. Also have an 07 ES350 for the Mrs and that had the gas pedal recall. This is just getting rediculous. (as an FYI her water pump started making noise at 41000 miles and they also noticed dried anti freeze residue on the radiator. Thank god it was warranty as the bill would have been $2300.00.) Where oh where has Toyota quality gone? Thank god the service is at least good, loaner cars and some food and coffee while you wait. All reflected in repair costs of course!

And, glad I have extended warranties on these babies.
