its going to be very very hard to be "hella flush" with 22s. when i had 22s i was running a 38mm offset all around. it wasnt flush but it still created a lot of problems in the front. the rear shouldnt be a problem but if you want to be hella flush you'll have to either roll/shave and possibly pull.

The problem is to roll flush you need to stretch tires when you have limited wheel gap to clear and tire sizes are limited with 22s if you can ride a 22x9 +22 225/30-22 & 22x10.5 +35 245/30 or 255/30 at the most you should be close to where you want to be put be prepared to make it work by means of fender mods rolling/shaving/ maybe slight pulling. You can make anything work if your willing to do custom work. My next set of wheels are going to need fender pulls and bodywork and I still plan on running 20s way more aggressive than the offsets I just gave you. Those numbers are realistic that I gave you though!

Food for thought the ride height on 22s is much higher than 20s. I'm really digging the whole ducking driveways speedbumps and manhole covers thing. Lol!!!! I hung up the dub style for VIP OYAH !! In my Pauly D voice!!

dropping on air or coils? How much are you willing to stretch the tires would be another question.

see you match mtc a whole lot.lol. i can either get air bags or rims and coils. does anyone know what the car on d2technik was running? i know the vid is old but it looked good. or maybe even some 20's that look bigger. ive seen some 20's that look like 22's. idk what it is about them.they just look bigger, i guess they have more center space.

any wheel where the spokes extend all the way out to the end of the wheel (ie no lip) tend to look bigger. also when you lower the car it tends to look bigger. you'll be able to get much lower with less work with 20s then you will 22s

Look up phillygs in the 2nd gen thread he is on 18s and they look ridiculous a year ago if you would have told me I would like a set of 18s I would have told you your crazy, I love that car. Anyway it's all about execution that d2 car was virtually undrivable at that height though. I saw them driving around the block but not for normal everyday driving. I prefer coils, with a nice fitting wheel.I personally want to go super aggressive and flare my panels as opposed to going larger in wheel diameter

22's on coils and flush is a pain in the a$$. I repainted my fenders once, then had to replace both fenders and both bumpers recently. I shaved the front and rear bolts that hold the bumpers on in the front and back. I had to remove my fender liners which ended up voiding my warranty to replace my headlights due to condensation. It is not worth it in the end. I have had over a dozen sets of 20's and it is less of a headache.

come on now, lets not exagerate. damn those wheels are ugly!i think im gonna have to with air for now. i see what you guys mean i do understand its just that i like that big rim look(only if it fits in the cars body not like a toy.).ill stick to getting 20's later but nonetheless a good offset and size for aggressive 20's would be?

All depends on what your going for Im planning on going real aggressive and pulling my fenders Im slammed and slightly poked out a 20x9 +12 & 20x10.5 +24 my next set is going to be 20x9.5+15 and 20x11+25. The offsets I have now will require shaved fenders or roll and slight pull.
