Is this only for Non-ML cars or will the Mark Levinson systems be supported?

I really need to get on the research to see if a swap of Gen 5 Nav into my '06 is possible.

of course it can. most of the dvd movies out there are dual layer and they play fine on ml system, even 06 i believe

no, sl2ic won't work for 06 gs with ml

yeah, sl2ic is basically just sl2vi with new interface, so if sl2vi doesn't work with 06 gs with ml, the sl2ic won't

You could just buy a Component Input interface for the 06GS with ML, and then hookup an AppleTV. I think this can be done. There is a guy on the IS forum who has hooked up a component input module before.
