According to my car, I average 23 mpg in my 450h with the car set to "sport" and "PWR" settings... Real life calculations show that I am actually averaging 20-21 mpg which isn't so bad when you consider that I have a heavy right foot.

2007 GS350 AWD All stock - Highway I get about 28-29mpg. 220 mile drive north up I-95 to my mothers takes 7.5-8 gallons of gas if I'm not hitting traffic. Driving with my pregnant wife I average 70-73mph and dont do much heavy acceleration or changing lanes. However I do get to get on it occasionally leaving a rest stop and coming back onto the highway. Haven't actually calculated for the city. My previous 2005 Escalade was about 15mpg same drive and much worse around the city so in comparison I am more than happy with my gs350 mileage.

Is there something wrong with my GS350? If I reset my tank avg while cruising on the highway @ ~65mph, I only get like 25mpg o_O

Thanks and any help will be greatly appreciated.

i get about 23-24mpg with mixed driving, always accelerating hard (just about every chance i get). There isnt anything that you need to do apart from may be change the way you drive, ive gotten as high as 28-29 but that was when i tried to max out my mpg by constantly keeping a control of the throttle with no hard acceleration, and also maxing out the time that the car uses the electric motors.

(i didnt get the hybrid for the mpgs)

Thanks Nehal! I'll at least give the "good" driving a try just to see if I can hit the 28-29 MPG range!

Best I've ever got was a long mostly highway trip was 34+ mpg. GS300 AWD on my Kumho Ecsta LX Platinums.

More like 19-21 tank average doing all downtown Toronto city driving and taking advantage of every red light.

I didn't know you could reset the tank average without adding gas?

Actually the 450h doesn't get considerably higher MPG's.

EPA-
GS300 - 19/27 (23 avg)
GS350 - 19/26 (22 avg)
GS350AWD - 18/25 (21 avg)
GS430 - 16/23 (18 avg)
GS460 - 17/24 (20 avg)
GS450h - 22/25 (23 avg)

The joy of owning a GS450h isn't so much the fuel economy, it's the added performance without any real loss of fuel economy.

BTW, I have averaged 22 MPG combined while driving like a "bat out of hell" for nearly 3/4 of a tank.
