Question Check Engine and VSC Light

I have 2006 GS 300. Check Engine and VSC Light came on after car wasn't shifting properly. The codes are P0761 and P2714. Dealer claimed transmission fluid was low said they drain and refilled the fluid. Trnsmission does not have a leak, so I didnt understand why they claimed the fluid was low. Car ran fine for a day then issue came back. The codes refer to shift selenoids. Has any one experienced this issue and what did it take to fix it?

Thanks KD

They say the fluid never needs changing and they don't work on the trans, so all they do is check level. They claimed it was low, so they said they drained and added fluid which I know doesn't fix a shift Selenoid Valve be stuck open or closed.

even though they say the fluid in the trans doesnt have to be changed, it cant hurt to flush and add all new fluid

after 100k miles probably a good idea, that's what my friend told me. but he says the new tranny is all sealed so it's not 60k anymore

Can you verify that and get back to me cause my service advisor is the one that told me that and I will be approaching 60k in the summer

I remember when I had the vsc light on I had to replace to o2 sensors by the exhaust or something..it was covered by warranty but if it wasn't i would had to pay 1500 or something I can remember it was a expensive job

did the 02 Sensor cause your car to hesitate during shifting?
