Default Back to stock height

I went back to stock springs last week and my AWD GS and I must say, the car feels brand new again. The car rides nice and smooth and the main reason for the change is no more wobbles and vibrations. The car doesn't look nearly as nice as when I had the NF's on there with 20s, but feels right. I am putting the 20s back on in the spring and will ride at stock height until something is figured out or until i get another car. Just wanted to share.

Good now you feel like you are in a 30k car vs wobbles/shakes of a 2k car.

i still can't understand how cutting the springs results in wobbles and shakes on the awd...

I'm thinking about raising back my car for this reason also. The vibration at idle is a little embarrassing with passengers with you. At times... my 1996 Integra Gs-r Turbo drives smoother.

Sorry if this has been asked before BUT, if i put RWD springs on my AWD... would that work? I hate the 4x4 front end of the stock AWD height.

that's the part i don't understand. simple springs can do that even when the car isn't moving ?

the problem is when the AWD GS is lowered, the spider inside the bucket of the driveshaft is shifted to a new position that is slightly different than the original position that it is at when its at stock height. That small difference is what give you the vibrations and wobbles. since the grooves are so close to each other the spider tries to go back to the stock position.

i have a solution, just need to install them

Thanks for looking into and explaining this IXI187IXI! I'm looking forward to see if you found the solution to this issue!

well fixing the caster on mine didnt resolve the wobble. I got the H-teins and caster was off by almost one degree, replaced both front lower control arm rear bushings w lexus caster correcting ones (now near stock caster) and the wobble still there...lets c what happens w these "spacers" for the front dog bone...hope u can do it soon...Im in the burbs of phila, and know how to work on GS's...PM me if u need help, i could prob do the install GRATIS for u, at ur place or mine....SOOO tired of the wooble
