Default 19" VOLK GT-C Test Fitting

OK so i been scratching around the idea of 19" Volk Racing GT-C for my GS300, I wasnt quiet convinced it would look good but i test fitted the following size anyways to see if it would look ok:

Diamond Black 19x9.5 +33 Front Face 1
Diamond Black 19x10.5 +37 Rear Face 2

And the fact is, maybe its because it has no tire, but damn the 19" wheels look tiny on this car! As far as flush fitment, it sticks out just a hair past the fender but it should camber in some once you put the car on the ground. (i hope) The rear inner side wheel well looks like a snug fit, the rim is about a pinky's distance from the inside of the carpeted tub? Here are some crappy iphone pics on how they look.... Yes i know these aren't the style for this type of car for the most of you.

This is the front top view:

Man, I have always HATED that wheel. lol. Good luck with it though. I've seen a few GS3s on 19's which looked pretty good.

I think 19" looks good depending on face style. Some wheels simply look small even though they are large diameter wise. Typically multi-piece modular wheels (especially with stepped lips) appear small. BTW why do you hate this wheel?

Just personal taste. I am in the minority on that opinion though, because many people have bought this wheel.

Yea but the "majority" who bought these were for sports cars, not luxury sedans hehe.

GT-Cs are classic, haven't seen them on a 3GS, very popular on the 2GS. can't wait to see her!

I think with these offsets and width it won't be possible without modding the fenders...

I think these would better fit a SC300/400 guys.

1sc and 3gs offsets are more or less in the same ballpark.

LAWL.

Anyways, they shouldn't have too much of a rubbing problem... if any. My original 360 Forged were like that when they were in the air, once on the ground it was a tucked in.
