Default Rough week for the GS

I just thought I'd share with you all to vent. It was a rough week for the GS last week. First the run flat hit a pot hole and popped. Had just gotten new tires and this one had less that 400 miles on it! And this was just the beginning...

Then two days later on the way home from the gym this happened...

Traffic on the freeway came to a stop, but obviously the Prelude behind me was a little slow to stop. Needless to say, it was a rough week for the GS. Tomorrow she goes into the shop...but sadly her paint will never match again.

Wow ... sorry to hear about that. Glad no one was hurt.

Those are terrible mods, BTW.

Any decent bodyshop can match the paint. I had similar accident where the bumper was changed and the paint looks like oem.

sorry to hear. good thing is your okay and it only looks like the bumper cover was damaged. we have the same issue in Chicago with the creator size pot holes and winter just adds more.

Sorry to hear your bad luck. I always say that it could have been worse. You're still alive and that's what matters!

yup...you guys are all right, it could have been much worse...it's just more frustrating than anything. i am impressed at how well the bumper absorbed the impact though considering how hard i got hit. i'll find out in a few hours if the frame is ok.

the turbo'd gs has been sitting in the garage untouched for about 2 years now. back in the day it was powerful. haha...it's putting about 450 on the block...385 to the wheels last time it was dyno'd.

the OEM engine is 300hp so your turbo is adding 150hp? cool.

Default insurance?

If insurance is paying and you live in the SGV... Go to Macros, they don't even bother to repair, every parts is replaced.
