Recently, I took my car in to have a flat tire repaired at America's Tire Co. Eventually, I ended up taking my car to my local Lexus dealership because I couldn't find the lug nut key anywhere.
I know I had the lug nut key at some point because I remember it being in a small leather pouch. There is no reason why I would've taken it out of my car, which leads me to believe that the dealership may have taken it from my trunk and never put it back.
What do you think I should do to get it replaced? Should I buy a new one, or ask if the dealership will give me a new one?
Just ask them to check if they forgot to put it back in your car.
Sadly, the techs at my dealership seem to make little oversights like that every time I go in. The last time they forgot to put my engine covers back on.
