Default will any dealer do valve spring recall?

i bough my 07'gs350 used. i want to know if i can take it to any lexus dealer. also i know wveryone talks about this but id rather a more direct answer. the tapping noise on my engine. that seems to be coming from the top of the engine. is there any recall for that? little annoying taktaktaktaktaktaktaktaktkataktak.... is there any solution to it? really makes a "luxurious car" sound like a 98 civic. or something older. car runs great great. but that sound is the first thing people notice when they come up to my car. warm or cold.sometimes high sometimes low. please lmk thanks

ticking noise is from the fuel injectors, they are normal, no recall, and nothing wrong with that. that's just how it is.

Welcome and gratz on you're purchase. The sad part is civic makes no noise and sounds more like a "NORMAL" car. The ticking noise is the Direct Injection, yes you are probably going to ask how come other maker's have DI but no ticking noise. That's a great question: Probably cause they took they're time making it perfect vs lexus i guees who rushed things. The recall is only for you're valve springs and lifter's. Yes any dealer could do them.

Most DI engines have that sound...

Do people not test drive cars nowadays before they make a purchase? You can clearly hear that.

That's the sound that engines that hopefully can make it to 300,000 miles make. It's the sound of sturdy components and not weak soft ones that will break. :P

Haha! Very true. Mine is loud. Or try a BMW E30. It has very loud valve tapping. Just normal for that car.

Like others have said, it's perfectly normal. I really don't even hear mine anymore, and I'm pretty **** about my car.

If you want quiet, get a Tesla Roadster.
