Thoughts After Valve Spring Recall Done (pics added)
6 yr/100K EW is only on the power train.
it's not that good of a deal. factory powertrain is already 6yr/70k miles to begin with. now they basically stick with the same time frame, but give another 30k miles. i don't think there are that many people able to break 100k miles in 6 yrs
I noticed that this deal (6/100k and certificates) are through Lexus Financial Service.
What if I bought CPO and paid cash?
BTW- i have the 07 GS350 AWD that is part of the recall. I havent received my letter by my service advisor told me i could/should schedule an appointment ASAP when i was in the a little bit ago for an oil change.

FWIW, three weeks ago I received the recall letter, and today I received the notice of the extended warranty and the $1500.00 voucher. I've yet to schedule taking my GS in for the valve spring replacement, and may not, as it's running fine.
My gas mileage, however, has been back up to where it was when I first got the car - probably because it is only running on 3 cylinders...haha.
I have been experiencing more problems after the recall was performed than before. It has been almost stalling at stop lights, and acceleration has been sporadic.

Is anyone experiencing more vibration on idle at a red light then before? I am its getting really annoying, i feel it in my seat, my doors, my steering wheel, and you can even hear the idle ruff. Idle is at around 650ish.
If they filled your gas tank wait until you fill it yourself. I had the car in for service about a year ago and they filled the car for me because I dropped it off empty and they needed to run it so they filled it. But they apparently filled it with 89 octane and I had the same problem you're having. Just make sure you use premium next time and see if that helps.
