Default lexus brakes 04465-30410

I bought my gs350 a month ago and the brake dust is horrible, the worst I have ever seen.
In Dec 2009 and 12k miles ago the dealer did a brake job with pad #04465-30410.
Is there a better factory pad?
Lots of discussion on aftermarket pads and lots of suggestions what do you recommend?

yes they have a low-dust brake kit and it seriously reduces the break dust by two weeks... It seems to be the same part number that you mentioned so I dont know which brakes you have ??? I have the old ones and those turn your wheels black in two days and the brake dust makes your car squeeel !!!
Part #: 0446530410

Discovered yesterday that the low dust pads are part number 0446530400, while the regular dusty pads are part number 0446530410. The way to tell is by clicking the ADD button at the sewellparts link posted by ReyRey305.

This matches the information on TSIB L-SB-0121-08 thst can be found at http://wwww.clublexus.com/forums/sus...-released.html

Hope this helps. Strange that I did this search just yesterday.

Default Brake Dust

Have 2010 GS and have OEM brake pads and they leave very little dust. In fact I am quite happy as my other vehicle (Toyota Truck) and previous 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited left a lot more dust on wheels. I guess it was just luck that I got a better pad on mine, manufactured Oct 2009.
