This recently happend and its bothering the hellllll outta me can anyone tell me what going on

its really bad at night it looks like if there was tint on our mirrors. the tint was takin offf of it on the uper half and during the day its less noticeable



this picture barely shows but im thinking i will have to replace the glass any help appreciated!!

 

seems like the anti glare coating is damaged. the mirror has a coating that if you turn on the dimming feature on the rear view mirror, it will work on the side mirrors as well. seems like that's damaged

 

how do i replace it??

i can see it in the picture.. how did you damage it?
not sure if this can be covered under warranty, but glass itself is not cheap..
maybe you can find a used mirror on ebay. that's what did on my ls430. paid $50 n installed it myself.

dang! idk one night i saw a very small portion doing it then i thought it was a dirty smudge and then it got huge!!!! maybe the weather??? i live in Arkansas and its been super hott...... like 107 degrees maybe the heat
