Default Powerslide

Has anyone tried to powerslide a GS460 or GS350 on a track?

I was just reading the article on InsideLine and now I want to go to a track or disused airfield and try this.

I didn't get quite to that level, but I did abuse my Advans pretty severely the day before I shed them for the new ps2's. Definitely an adrenaline rush. I'm too cheap to abuse my new tires like that tho.

BMW's performance driving school is only an hour and a half up the interstate from me, and my brother in law and I are planning on taking the 2 day M School course together next spring. BMW supplies the cars too! Woohoo!!

lol even better, i attended the m school myself and that's where i did all the sliding. total blast. and i am from cali, totally worth the plane ticket.

i went for 1 day m school and if i had the time, i would have gone for 2 day. for 2 day you will get a jacket and a free helmet too, worth it. yes, you will be driving all m3, m5, and m6 in different courses.

i did a review in car chat. the fun was well worth the admission imho

do it!

Many times with my 460, but not on a track ;-). Trust me this car can slide all day long.

Occasionally with the 350 but also not at the track. I wish the GS had a 6 speed manual...

all you need is an empty parking lot. like your supermarket, after midnight.

I remember seeing this commercial in 2007. One of my favorites.

Well, I just got back and all I can say is holy ***** that was fun. Seriously worth the plane ticket and time spent traveling. They let you push their cars to the limit and beyond. The instructors were on point, the cars were brand new, and the course was awesome.

I wonder what they do with those cars? Maybe you get one of those if you buy a low mileage BMW executive car.
