New member here, seems i have the mod bug. i guess i have that with every car, it just seems to be more extreme with the lexus.I am putting tanabes on tomorrow, i have done springs on other autos, any tips or tricks to the lexus? I found the thread about changing springs on the IS. I have also ordered vossen 086 with nitto invos tires. I went with the 245/30 and 275/25 tire set up. will post pics once finished. It seems that the worst part about installing the springs is pulling the trunk out.

 

its pretty much the same thing. just dont touch the AFS lol.

does the afs really need to be adjusted? it seems some have issues and other dont. I guess ill find out!

 

if you don't see warning lights on dash, don't adjust it

Welcome to the club buddy... i got'430 also.. its pretty easy to install the springs for our model... nothing to complicated. good luck on installation.. post some pixs of ur car when its done..

The 3GS is not a perfect car but we love ours. I swore I'd never put on a kit but here I am with kit and loving the look.
So wheels and drop are just the 1st phase.

Thanks all, well today is the spring install day. I have the cream or cashmere interior. I love the look but damn those mats and carpet are a PIA to keep clean. I was looking at body kits online last night, not to many that im fond of, I do like the Wald Lip though. off to the garage. I will take before and after. I chose the nf210, I may be kicking myself cause i really wanted the df's but the wife hates when i "screw up her stock car"!
