Default Dashboard Glare after Armorall

After the car wash, the guy details the inside of my car include the top of the dashboard. As I was driving off, I noticed how much glare it produces due to the shiny armorall and annoys the heck outta ya.

This isn't the first time happening and I've checked the board to see if there is some type of fix for this issue, but none to be found.

Is it just me or do others have this problem???

wipe it off...they use the wrong product for your dashboard.

Soapy water and some good scrubbing with a cotton towel will probably take most of it off or dull it. Otherwise, it will just dull with time.

I don't care for the super shiny stuff either. Black Magic wipes seem to give it that fresh look without being too shiny, also turtle wax F2? (or something like that?) interior spray works well for me.

I would use windex or 303 cleaner. Soap will leave residue.

A light spray of 303 into a clean cloth does wonder. It leaves a matte finish that's more effective as a UV-protector than Armor All.

303 will work, or use diluted alcohol to take off the armor all. do NOT let them put armorall in your car anymore!!!!!

I use leather conditioner on dashes of several cars I've owned. It typically leaves a mat finish and actually helps keeping it from drying out for quite a while.

Really? I don't have a problem with it. What do you guys use? I've tried other things but still haven't found anything I preferred. I'd love suggestions!

To remove it, just use a warm damp towel. Woolite mixed with water 10:1, would work better.
