Default override map DVD question

I have a Gen 5 v9.1 map dvd, its not working on my 2006 gs430, anyway to make it work by override the system? Please help.

btw, does Gen 2 or 3 dvd are working on my 06 gs430?

click menu, then volume, corner top left, corner bottom left, do it twice, then hold down the override button until your hear BEEP, then click back n get out, it should work then, kool....

I believe your 2006 is Gen 4, therefore a Gen 5 DVD will not work.

correct, get gen4 dvd otherwise it won't go anywhere
