Default Black300 Tinted

Got wifey's 300 tinted. The front windows are 45% the rears are 35%.
For some reason the pics aren't that good looking but what the heck.
I was in a hurry.
Wifey is pretty rough on the car. The bumper is scraped and full of rash. Now she wants a kit and I know she's gonna tear it up in no time. Prolly not going to do that.
I wanted to put higher end wheels on it instead but wifey has grown to like thse and wants to keep them. They ride good and look better in person than these pics. Speaking of pics, let's get to it.

I think it looks pretty good, still not dark enough for my taste but understand the wife drives it so that may have factored into your decision to select the percentages you did. Car looks good though

That's cool. Different strokes for different folks.
What is it you don't like about them?

It's ok to not like the wheels or anything else but I would love to hear the reasons. The wheels are polished centers with polished lips and black painted windows....in a 5 spoke design. Trying to figure out what's not to like.

I don't think the wheels look bad on the car; I'm just not a fan of most aftermarket wheels. Fake hardware/bolts on one piece wheels generally falls into the cheap/tacky category for me.

I think the wheels are fine and probably look better in person...but not as nice as the set you have on your (GFM) car. What kind of rims/specs and drop are on this car?

I like the wheels myself always been a fan of the 5 star spoke rim, yea and the tint is good for the wife especially if shes banging up the bumper any darker would just be a nightmare on the poor bumper and please no kit unless ur just looking to throw money away lol

I'm okay with other opinions but I can't help myself from digging deeper. Fake bolts on 1 piece wheels is definitely a cosmetic and faux item. Then again, every wheel has cosmetic enhancements. Any wheel that is chrome, polished, painted or powder coated is cosmetically enhanced. None of those treatments is necessary for the proper ride of the car. We do those things to make the wheel look better. So that means you don't like any aftermarket wheel, single or multipiece. Calling 1 piece fake/cheap/tacky for having enhancements without saying all wheels are fake....because they all are enhanced, is not accurate. Just logic but it really doesn't matter. We like or dislike what we please.

i thought the sharkfin antenna was put on starting in '07 with the GS350s? did u put that on?

and although i'm a fan of 5 spoke wheels, these are nice but i'm not crazy about them. the spokes look a little too thin for my liking and those black spaces on each spoke just don't look right to me. i like the split 5 spokes you have on your 350 and the similar looking work gnosis gs-2s.

"enhanced" is subjective, just like wheel choices. There are some great looking aftermarket rims, but IMO the unflattering or ugly ones outweigh the solid choices. The current rims on your car are some of the nicest looking ones I've seen on the 3GS forum. I singled out a common fake design element (not finish, styles, or any other objective measure) as something that often makes wheels look cheap and tacky to me.

Yeah, I put that on. Wifey kept looking at mine and wanted one for her car.

The spokes are not thin at all. The black on the sides of the spokes makes the spokes look thinner.
Trust me guys, these wheels look a lot better in person. For some reason they are not photogenic at all.
They aren't my favorite but putting high end wheels on wifeys car is not something I want. Just look at the bumper on this car. Wifey chews up wheels like bubble gum. She gets dings and dents in places I have never seen before. These already have chunks of metal divots in places I don't understand. Same with every wheel I put on her car.
I can't imagine putting a soft high end wheel on this car. Nope, I'll stick with strong cast wheels.....until she buys her own.
These ride really good, fit perfectly and look nice. If she breaks them, they cost onlt 1K. Still good money but I can live with it.

You mean the L covers on the center caps?
Bought those at a wheel shop, they don't come with the wheels.
