Anything in the $200 to low $300 is a decent deal if it covers the front end (1/3?) of the hood and mirrors.

I am so glad I did it. Just wish I put it by the front wheels lower quarter panel. Road rash is a *****.

Here is an idea...head to the nearest Lexus lot to take a look at the used GS's and check where you see most road rash. Cover as much of those areas as you can afford.

Think of it as a condom for your car....prevents unintended "issues".

+ 1 I use Plexus as well to clean the clear bra. I've also had the clear bra on 4 cars in the last 4 years and never had an issue with yellowing and they've all been silver or white. On my silver IS F it's pretty hard to see the line on the hood. White cars will have a more visible line because of dirt build up where the film edge meets the paint.

For me it's cheaper than painting my bumper, hood and mirrors and I've never had anyone say to me that it looks ugly. Ugly would be those black OEM bra's and the painters tape I see people driving around with.

As far as price goes it really depends on the kit and the installer, much like having tint done. The best quality kit won't make up for a bad install with creases and bubbles.
