Default Hey from a new owner

So I had looked for a good deal on an 07 GS 350 for a while now, surprisingly I found it at carmax. There were several cars for under 27k but I checked and every single one of them was wrecked or salvage titled and repaired. So I found an 07 Smokey Granite Mica Ash interior, black instead of wood colored inserts, no nav.....35k miles under $28k, and they gave me $1000 more than expected for my trade so bonus...........now I have to wait for it to get transferred from Wichita.

First time I've purchased a car sight unseen, truthfully I've never even sat in a GS but my folks own a 2010 RX350 and have owned 2 ES's so I'm fairly certain I'll enjoy it.

I'm coming from an 05 TL with nav that is the first car I've owned and kept for longer than a year, it will be missed.

Welcome to CL!

Good luck with your purchase. I bought my '97 ES sight unseen as well. While it did turn out to have a nasty scratch that no one told me about, it turned out to be a great car for the 10 years that I drove it. The '05 TL is a great car too, but I think you're really going to appreciate the step up to your GS.

Keep reading the forum and your sure to find lots of ways to blow that $1,000 fast!

Yeah I'm 99% sure there's a single vertical scratch on the rear bumper...seems common to occur when the car's not pulled in far enough to the garage, but my friend works at a collision center so I'll have them fix it right up.

Mods mods mods, car's don't last long in my house before they get modded up.

Nice pickup, but I wish I had the guts to sign for a car that I have never seen in person to inspect.

I was very concerned, but carmax gives a 5 day return policy, no questions asked, so that's the reason I took the plunge. So they have me pay for the transfer fee, but other than that the paperwork's not done, when it arrives I'm sure I'll test drive it and make sure I'm good to go before signing the dotted line.
