Just beginning year 2 with my GS, and I feel like running something even better than my Michelin PS2 ZPs which are the best tires I've had so far.

By most accounts that I have read, PS2s are better than PS3s. The RE-11s in Tire Racks track test beat the PS2s on every dimension - dry traction, wet traction, noise, ride quality. Only area where PS2s had an edge is resistance to aquaplaning.

I don't know. I drive 6500 miles a year so I don't really care about tread lifespan. On the GS they are going pretty strong, although I'm sure my dealer will tell me the treadwear percentage as part of the 12 month service this Friday.

On my M3 I would get around 10,000 miles out of a set of PS2s, but I think most people get around 25k. With soft compound tires, the driving style has a significant impact. I am sure I could wear out a set of PS2s in 2 days on a track.

Try them out then. If Tire Rack gives that good of a rating how can you go wrong. Especially for the little driving you do.

I think you can get ~ 20k miles out of a PS2 depending on how you drive your car. But they are worth every penny in my books.

Do you think I could sell my existing PS2s which are at 65% tread remaining?

They are run flat and same size as stock 18s which is same as stock 18s also on BMW, Benz and Audi.
