Default TPMS Compatible Steelies?

Are there any aftermarket black steelies that will accept TPMS sensors out there? So far, I've not had any luck in finding any information on this except for the overpriced OEM ones.

I'm also under the impression that steel wheels need a different angle type TPMS sensor than the ones that fit into the alloys, is that the case? I still have my 17" stock alloys but I'm considering selling them as a set because I don't want the tires, which are still fine, to go to waste when I get winter tires next winter and selling tires alone off of rims is very difficult.

But, if there aren't any cheap aftermarket steel wheels out there then the cost is prohibitive considering that the cost of the Pre-April 06 TPMS sensors seems to have gone up a LOT on ebay since the last set I bought, and I might not even be able to find the special angled ones steelies need other than through a dealer at all.

Also, knowing myself, the tire warnings would drive me bananas before too long if I attempted to go a whole season without sensors. There are conflicting reports on the board about just whether or not the warning will even illuminate if the TPMS sensors are not found at all on the 06s. I suppose I can test the theory by hitting the switch and driving around for a month to see if it ever notices though.

Why not look for a set of OEM Toyota steelies from a Camry or Avalon? That's an option and they'll likely accept TPMS sensors

I guess what I'm worried about is purchasing a set online only to find out that the caliper clearance won't work. Any idea if 17 inch is the smallest I can go on GS300 calipers, or can I get away with toyota 16s?

The other thing I'm still not sure about is the part number for the tpms, I get the feeling that the tpms in my stock alloys won't work either. I have all summer to figure it out, though so I'm not too worried but I don't think all seasons on 8.5 inch wide rims will be too great in the snow.

GS requires 17" because of caliper clearance. No 16" wheels are available for GS because of it.
