Default Kit Confession

This is for my friends and all the people who are tired of hearing me complain that bodykits ruin the lines of the GS...and how I sometimes regret getting one.

This morning I looked through many of my old pre-kit pics. Pics I thought were very nice. Pics I thought made the GS look really sweet....but something is missing.
The car with the kit has more presense, added style...more of a customized look but easily could have come from the factory that way.
I still don't thing the GS absolutely needs a kit, like the SC does, to look good but it really enhanses the car. I can't see not having it.
For black cars, they can get away without a kit. But light colored cars, it will really take it to another level.
So this means I will never complain or go back and forth about this issue again.

Oh, the main reason for this dumb thread....I'm at the dealership while the car is in service and I need something to do.

It's not exactly an internet lounge. It's a room with several flat screen TY's and about 5 computers. Also there is a bar type set up with bagels, sweet rolls and drinks. I got in early to get breakfast and a computer.

3gs, i think it can look good without a kit if the car is dropped really low, with good wheels and offsets. otherwise, even on black cars i think without kits it look very naked. well, that's why i titled my thread the way i did "my car is finally not naked"... especially the 06-07 bumpers, they aren't that aggressive from factory, so with lowering and wheels, it looks a bit bland. 08+ is better with the new lines and aggressiveness up front, but still.

well, my 2 cents of course. i guess i am always on the "heavier" side of modding (by comparison)

You can leave your cell or laptop at home next time when visiting the dealer.
