Cut-Throat

The Tire Shop continues to over tighten my Lug Nuts on Tire Rotation to the point that I had to buy a 20 inch breaker bar and use all my strength to loosen the lug nuts.

The Socket that I used is a Standard 12 point 13/16 inch. My Tire wrench is a 6 point 13/16 inch. The problem is that my Wheel Lock 'key' fits into the 6 point Tire Wrench, but will not fit into the 12 point socket. So I bring up a open end Wrench that is 13/16 inch and it won't fit on the Wheel Lock Key. It is slightly too small. But it seems that the 7/8 inch is way to big. Is Metric Size involved here?

I am confused as to what size the Wheel Lock key is. Can someone explain what is going on here?

i forget what i use but i think its a 19mm socket. thats weird it wont fit. all my sockets are 12 point.

I just put the Wheel Lock key into a 21 mm 12 point socket and it seems to fit perfectly. Most all tire wrenches are 13/16 inch, so are you saying that the Lug nuts on the GS are Metric?

Well, I just confirmed that the Wheel Lock Key and Lug nuts are slightly different sizes.

I removed a Lug Nut from GS350 and was able to slip a 13/16 inch open end wrench over the nut. Fits perfectly! - The Wheel Lock key is slightly bigger than than 13/16 inch and the Open end wrench will not fit over it!

maybe its a 21mm that i use then. i use know where in my toolbox the socket is that i use lol.
