ONLY use the Toyota Red Coolant, do not use the other type you can buy at Kragen that is Green or mix it with the Red coolant.

When I was modifying Supras, we only used the Red toyota Coolant, we did experiment with using the Penske green coolant, but caused premature failure of the stock headgasket.

For some odd reason, the toyota engines weirdly only accept the Red coolant.

That just my opinion and experience with the Toyota Red, supposbly it just runs alot cooler and better.

Coolant loses it's co lour over time. It was probably a deeper red when it was first put in.
