Xenon is expensive!!
but the things you replaced were not replaced under your extended warranty.
we ALL have access to those fixes FREE under our standard 50k bumper to bumper warranty.
those were TSIB's- the brake squeal and dust, and the scratched b-pillars, and the fuel lines, etc etc
and even if you passed the 50k warranty period and didn't have an extended warranty, lexus would still fix those out of goodwill because those were TSIB's
so all those things shouldn't count against your extended warranty.
in effect, you still have $1600 more to go

when your side mirrors go bad, then maybe you'll break even
engine related problems are warranted up to 70k miles.
you are at 55k miles now?
what a rip off. the part costs only 10% of that. Ain't no way they're putting 700$ speakers in a damn camry

So they told me the extended warranty does not cover the xenon bulbs.... Ok I told we have to change it as I don't want to drive with only one light, but it cost me 450 USD!!! 450 USD for only one bulb!!
I was a bit surprised.....

Still I was glade it was under warranty cause it would be hell for me to take out the back seat and back panel just to replace that rear speaker.
Anyway, we know CL and help each other to find ways to do things and lower prices.
As far as extended warranties are concerned. I did not do my homework on them. When I did go for a check engine light, I was told that they do not accept third party warranties. I would have to pay in full and get reimbursed. And btw, they probably will not pay the entire amount Lexus is going to charge me. Luckily the repair was a new gas cap that Lexus wanted to charge me $30 for the part and $80 for labor. I did not take what was behind door number one.
