Default AWD or RWD

Still looking for a GS, so far I have been only looking at the RWD, since I live in Texas no worry about snow. With price not being an issue which would you rather have, a 2007 gs350 RWD or a 2007 gs350 AWD?

What's wrong with AWD? I live in western Oregon, it snows here maybe every other winter, but so far I have never regreted buying an AWD.

In my case it was not a targeted purchase, I just found a deal on a loaded demo AWD I could not refuse.

Why would you bother with an AWD in Texas?

RWD...especially if RWD version still has a traction control feature. Value of AWD increases with your probability of confronting winter conditions.

with no chance of snow, getting awd is just going to waste your gas and cut your power

Lower gas mileage.

Lower reliability.

well i guess the most important question is, what are you plans with the car? do you plan on keeping it stock? if so either one will be fine. if you plan to mod the car like wheels and lowered definitly get the rwd without a question. also are they 2 different years? 07+ have some changes that the 06's do not have.
