Super tired, been reading and reading for hours. Just bought a set of 6000k garax's...and 3000k 9006's for the fog lights.... and amber fog light covers to give it that extra special glow. I'm excited to see what the end result will be. I still need to address the DTRL's. I'm sure i've seen a write up on it giving full detail on what bulbs to go with and a DIY picture guide, can someone help me out?

From what I've read, most people are going with the 9005 LED bulbs from V-Leds. In order to avoid the flickering issues, be sure to get the module that allows full power sent the bulbs because the DTRL are just your high beams running at half the power which results in the LEDs flickering. It should be plug and play. A great upgrade for aesthetics but you will loose your high beam function.

 

What are the 194 LED's in reference to anything? I see them in your sig and have heard of them in passing.

 

The 194's are the little bulb located in the upper right side corner of the DTRL housing. They turn on when you turn on your headlights. I used a LED version because I wanted the color to match my 6k low beams.

 

we can install these with the springs if you want. Its really easy to do if you want a hand. Just let me know.
