I can't believe someone side swiped my new kit on the left rear quarter.
I can't believe the manners, or lack thereof by people.
WHo could just hit someone's car and then ride away.
It's just a car and I can get it fixed but it still pisses me off because I hate ill mannered people. All I can do is let it go and get it fixed. I guess I just wanted some sympathy from my clublexus brethren.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's a bit different but my other car recently got keyed for no reason. I don't understand why ppl would damage/harm other ppl's properties.

 

that blows man.. sorry to hear. i for one had too many incidents like that on my previous car. haven't happened on my gs yet.. *knocking on wood*

sorry to hear that, people are just stupid the can t drive get in or out of there car without smackin the car next to them. I try to park as far away from people as possible. ytou just had the kit painted and put on a few weeks ago right

I think it happened at a Dunkin Donuts this morning. Couldn't have happened at work cause I was parked at the end of the row. Gotta be DD.

Someone mentioned how calm I am about it....well, I've already vented so that's done. If I knew who did it, I wouldn't be calm. I'd be in jail if they didn't agree to pay for it. Since I have no other recourse, no use in holding on to the anger and frustration.
Besides, I have bigger fish to fry.

happened to me at school... stupid ***** in a ford truck too! same side but the whole quarter panel and part of my rear bumper..... it was one day right before i was going to install the lip kit.... i ended up installing it anyways, having a shop pull out some ginormous numbers and got my lip kit painted free...

some people kept telling me how it was wrong and messed up to hustle her out of $2300.... if there were no witnesses that day, she would of gotten off CLEAN with hitting my car... turns out she had no ins and suspended license.... her dad's ins covered the whole thing and i'm pretty sure their premium's SKY HIGH

 

That stinks Reg. I bet you see some of the same folks there every morning about the same time, might be worth checking their cars for paint.

wow, man, sorry to hear what happened. Same thing happened to me too in a parking garage, someone swiped the rear driver side quarter panel and bumper, no name, nothing...

Well you know what they say; karma is a ....

 

Last yeear i had some kid ride his bike into my driverside door and scratch it to the white meat, then a shop that put my alarm on chipped the paint on the same door like 9 months later, while parked in front of my wheel shop someone backed into the corner of my front bumper and caved it in, the guy that put my nav tool adapter in broke the vent above the headunit. everyone paid for there mistakes and its all been fixed its more the aggrevation of making people pay and getting **** fixed about 2k worth of damages
