That's ideal. But I don't think our 3GS comes with rev mactching to begin with and I wouldn't expect too much to be fair.

paddle shifters would be great on our cars! Even my gs4 had buttons to shift on the wheel

the isf they have rev matching, now the ls460 sport has rev matching too. so there is always hope

after driving my m3, sometimes i drive the gs350 and hard down shift and it's definitely not a good feeling

the skipper paddles look way better than the first.

but either one would be useless because the car has shift lag.

I have contacted a guy who has access to the benz paddles I will be ordering these and trying this out im sure I can wire it up to work with the tiptronic transmission.

My local benz dealer wanted 301$ each
my local lexus dealer wanted 276$ each for the ISF cabon fiber ones

My guy can get the Benz ones for 165$ pair

That's good to know and please keep us updated. The $165 price is good and reasonable for a pair, I think the labor might be more costly unless you know how to DIY.

But Lexus doesn't make a carbon fiber ISF paddle shifter.

On the GS460 the shift lag is very short. I don't know what it is on the GS350, but on the IS350 I found it to be within an acceptable range for paddle usage. Paddles on IS350 are fun. I think the paddle would be fun on the GS460 with the current shift timing.

until the novelty wears out.

acceleration is plenty fine without manual control.

I agree with the acceleration being fine, but sometimes its nice to use paddles. The novelty has never worn of for me.

But you can use the shift **** to achieve the same effect holding gear/downshifting?

does anybody have that toms part that switches the tiptronic shifting. By this I mean when u pull down on the shifter you gear up and when u push on it you gear down.
