Default Curious question on gauge

I was at a red light and the sun shined onto my gauge and where it lights up "ect pwr" when active. But above that shows a suspension and says sport but its not light up. So I switched the buttons near the arm rest and it lights up ect pwr but what is the suspension icon there for and how do you engage it? I didnt see it until the sun shined on it and u have to look at it at an angle...06 GS3 AWD.

I'm assuming you are talking about Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) which is available only on GS430/460 models.

Yes, they share the same gauge cluster but just don't have the bulb in that spot since it's not used. It's cheaper to manufacture this way. Not 'Lame' in my eyes.
