just got a new set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 in 255/40/18 on my 06 GS 430 and i LOVE them!!! 1000X's better than the old Yokohama ADVAN that came on the car.

for the price, no complaints! protects the rims better and no rubbing. tested on full u-turns

My car is only three and a half weeks old. I haven't even put gas in it yet (not kidding!).

But I've been around a loooong time, owned many, many cars and I'm really queer (can I say that?) about wheels and tires.

Fantastic. Are you experiencing better ride and lateral grip? How does it look?

BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S, great traction in snow.

But they follow the groves in the road and make driving on unsmooth roads less comfortable. The stock 245-40-18 Toyos were much, much smoother but they were only summer tires.

Thanks DaSyce, I have enough of being tossed around by rough roads with runflats currently on my car. I'm tired of fighting the steering wheel. Gotta have something that smooth out rough roads better than what I have now.

Consensus on this thread is best to stick with stock tire size, but going +1 on width may be okay.
