i have OEM wheels, i dont know if i should go with tire size 245/40/18 all or around or go with lower profile 245/35/18 tires.
also what is a decent brand?
I wouldn't go lower than 40 series rubber on a 18" wheel, which is considered low profile allready. Alot here like the michelin sport pilots, (pricey) and the bridgestone potenzas or falkins 452's if your budget concience
how about 245/45/18 because stock 17s are 225/50/17?
we have had a few threads on that, I run 245 45 18s and there is minimal rubbing, by convention you would go from 225 50 17 to 225 45 18 which is same diameter as 245 40 18. I think if anyone wants a cushier ride 234 45 18 or 245 45 18 is ideal. For the price General Exclaim UHP tires are great...I have a set and am very happy
